GB/T 983 E310Mo-16 EQUIVALENT NORM : AWS A5.4 E310Mo-16

a. LY E310Mo-16 deposited metal is a stable austenite structure containing 25Cr-20Ni-2Mo. It shows excellent corrosion-resistibility of non-oxidiziing acid,e.g. sulphuric acid and has good heat-resistibility,due to Mo element in it.It is especially suitable for welding structures which can’be preheated or postheated. b.Both AC and DC can be applied and it can be used for all position welding with excellent performances: stable arc, small spatters, good appearance of weld. And also the welding electrode shows good heat-resistance character, not easy to turn red.

Suitable for welding A1S1 310S,coated stainless steel, mild steel and Cr-Mo steel as well as dissimilar alloy steels that should be heat-treated.

a.Before welding, the welding electrodes should be baked at the temperature from 300 to 350℃ for one hour.
b.The stainless steel brush must be used to clean the weld seam,in order to avoid iron filings penetrating there to affect its quality.
c.Small current and single-pass welding are recommended and the temperature between layers should be kept below 150℃,in order to avoid cracking.
